13 Week Walk/Run Program - Week 7 - Day 2
Today's objective: Run 3 minutes. Walk 1 minute. Do this 10 times.
My body was still very tired today and it didn't help when I miscounted and thought I was done one interval too soon. After thinking I was done, that last run interval took a lot of effort and wasn't one of my fastest to be sure.
The first session of this week really took a toll on me. I didn't realize how much until the next day. I ended up sleeping in until 10am! When I run, I'm out of bed by 4:55am and when I don't run I'm up by 6am. To sleep until 10am is late for me, even on the weekends. I also forgot to mention that I was feeling lightheaded by the second to the last interval. I'm not sure if my breathing was off or what.
Today, my main problem was stiff ankles and tired body. I'm glad next week is an "easy" week. We'll see, right now I'm feeling a bit beat up.
